How does the ELO rating system work?
Battleground uses an ELO rating system similar to chess. You start with a base rating and gain or lose points based on match outcomes and your opponent's rating. Beating a higher-rated player earns more points, while losing to a lower-rated player costs more. Your ELO determines your tier — Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, or Archeon.
What subjects can I battle in?
Battleground covers three science subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology — all aligned to JEE and NEET syllabi. Each subject has its own leaderboard, its own ELO ranking, and a unique Throne for the #1 player.
What is the Throne system?
The Throne is the ultimate rank in Battleground. The #1 ranked player globally earns the Archeon Throne, while the #1 in each individual subject earns their respective Throne. Thrones are displayed prominently on the leaderboard and can be dethroned at any time.
Is Battleground free to use?
Yes, 100%. Battleground is completely free for all Logic Bloom users. There are no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, and no pay-to-win mechanics.
Can I challenge my friends directly?
Absolutely! Battleground has a Direct Challenge feature. Visit a friend's profile and hit the "Challenge" button to send them a 1v1 invite in any subject.
How are questions selected for a match?
Questions are randomly selected from a curated bank aligned with JEE and NEET syllabi. The difficulty is calibrated based on the average ELO of both players. Both players always see the exact same set of questions.
